Reishi never disappears in Soul Society — it only changes vessel. 8,888 rank NFTs map to four tiers. Minting only ever yields Recruits: a Recruit earns BLC in combat to rank up, or devours another Recruit to be promoted — Officer, Lieutenant, Captain, one rung at a time.

Reishi is the particle everything in Soul Society is made of. A Soul Reaper reorganises it with a zanpakuto; the hunting ground turns it into something you can book: the higher the rank, the more reishi the same hour yields.
The 8,888 NFTs are not pictures — they are roster slots. Every badge carries the emblem of its division: Iris for the 13th, Yarrow for the 11th, Gardenia for the 7th, Sunflower for the 1st. The tier decides this badge's combat power.

軍銜序列Minting only produces Recruits. Two ways up: burn BLC, or devour same-tier NFTs.
Mint
MINT8,888 in total, then the book closes. First one free, then 0.0013459 BNB (about $1.00) each, 8 per wallet.
- First mint per wallet is free — gas only.
- From the second on, 0.0013459 BNB (about $1.00) each. The contract quotes in BNB, not in dollars.
- 8 per wallet. Over the cap reverts WalletCapReached.
- Minting only produces Recruits, never a higher rank.
- msg.value must equal the quoteMint figure exactly — one wei off reverts.
Every mint payment goes straight into the BLC liquidity pool. The more that is minted, the deeper the pool.
Fuse
FUSEThe second path: burn no BLC at all, just devour same-tier NFTs. 2 Recruits make 1 Officer, 3 Officers make 1 Lieutenant, 4 Lieutenants make 1 Captain.

- Same tier only: one Recruit plus one Officer will not fuse.
- Devoured NFTs are destroyed for good — no BLC back, no balance left.
- NFTs in combat cannot fuse. Recall them first.
- Fusing charges 0.5% of that tier's rank-up cost in BLC (0.05 / 0.25 / 1.4), so approve first; the new rank can enter combat immediately.
- Burning does not recycle mint slots: 8,888 is the sale cap, not a live-supply cap.
Ascend
ASCENDOne step at a time, no skipping. This path burns BLC (0.5% of it goes to the treasury); the other one is Fuse — eat NFTs and pay only a small fee.

- Only the adjacent tier. Captain is already maxed.
- Approve exactly the amount needed — never unlimited.
- The new rank applies immediately; past output is not retroactive.
Rates are hard-coded constants — nobody can change them after deployment. Claim and rank-up tax goes to the treasury, the rest is burned as before. Transfer tax only applies against the Pancake pool; wallet-to-wallet transfers are free.
